UGARING Medical Device
I worked on the design for MD Biosciences Neuro's medical device. It is being produced and sold by Prava MedTech, a partner of MD Biosciences Neuro.
The UGARING® is a ground breaking drainage tube stabilization device developed out of wartime necessity, designed to improve efficiency for medical professionals and transform emergency care.
The UGARING® device was designed to secure and support drainage tubes outside the body directly on the insertion site. Attached to the skin with medical-grade adhesive tape, UGARING® holds tubes inserted into the chest cavity to drain fluids and minimize drain tube dislodgment.
Prototypes were printed on the Formlabs 3B in 3 different materials.
