Shadow Spacer
A spacer designed to leave a gap between the supporting column and the fabric to eliminate shadows.
The 20 ft sign that Arbojet has created for their conferences had an issue with one of the supporting beams casting a shadow in the center of the sign.
The first iteration of the spacer was printed with FDM on the Prusa MK4, but the black PETG was still casting a shadow. Printing the part in white PETG improved the results but still cast a noticeable shadow.
To let more light through I printed the part with SLA on the Formlabs 3b. This print met the desired project requirements.
